CASA held its first training class
March 1994
CASA advocated for its first child
July 2000
CASA advocated for 100 children
August 2017
CASA opened up its Children’s garden
August 2017
CASA began partnership with Give Something Back Foundation
January 2019
CASA celebrates 25 years of advocating for abused and neglected children
January 2020
CASA expands to Grundy County, re-branding to CASA of River Valley
DCFS reports that there are more than 500 children in foster care each year.
CASA of River Valley advocated for 374 children last year.
Currently we have 140 volunteers advocating for children in our community.
Since 1994, our volunteers have changed the lives of more than 3,200 children.
