Run Team CASA, support children in foster care that have experienced abuse and neglect.
Team CASA 2026 is accepting applications for the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
To receive a race bib for Team CASA, you must raise a minimum of $2,200 to support our mission.
Runners receive the following benefits for joining Team CASA:
- Guaranteed entry for the 2026 Bank of Chicago Marathon*
- Access to the official Nike Marathon Training Plan
- Fundraising support including a personal fundraising page, social media promotions and online tools to help you exceed your individual fundraising goal
- Reimbursement of your registration fee (after you reach the minimum fundraising goal
- The incredible feeling of knowing that your efforts will help children in the foster care system receive the help they need to find safe and loving homes
* You must complete all CASA of River Valley Team requirements AND Bank of America Chicago Marathon Requirements. Joining our team DOES NOT automatically guarantee you a spot in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Email completed and signed waiver to Abbey Fitzgerald: afitzgerald@casaofrivervalley.org.
October 21st, 2025 — Registration for Team CASA 2026 is open.
By joining Team CASA, you agree to raise a minimum of $2,200 for CASA of River Valley by the fundraising deadlines established below. Your guaranteed marathon entry is provided in exchange for this fundraising commitment.
May 11th 2026 –50% of your Fundraising Minimum Due
October 5th, 2026 — 75% of your Fundraising Minimum Due
October 11th, 2026 @ 7am — Chicago Marathon
November 2nd, 2026 — 100% of your Fundraising Minimum Due

Team CASA Waiver Due - Upon Registration
This waiver acknowledges the runner’s fundraising commitment as well as recognizing the potential risks of running in the marathon. Email signed waiver to afitzgerald@casaofrivervalley.org.

75% of Fundraising Minimum Due - Oct 5, 2025
At this point, 75% of your fundraising minimum is due.
